Let Us Help You with Our Google Business Package

About half of the consumers who do a web search for a local business on their smartphone will probably visit that shop the same day.  The web search will give the browser a map and the local listings that are nearby.  We need to get your business on Google Maps, as this gives your prospective customers a chance to visit your virtual entity before your bricks-and-mortar shop, but so many retailers haven’t claimed their Google My Business account! We are here to change this with our Google Business  Package, here are 3 reasons why it’s a good idea to take out this service that is free with all our website plans.

Google My Business

As Google My Business works very well with a business website, we have developed our Google Business Package that comes with all of our website plans. This will ensure your business is visible to anyone who’s searching for the products or services that you provide. Step one will be the Google My Business optimization service, which will improve your business ranking in search results.

After you grant us access to your Google Business account, we will look after every detail to provide accurate data about your enterprise, like NAP (name, address and phone number), description, working hours etc. We will see that your business listing is on Google Maps, so everybody will get precise directions to your door.

This way your business will show up in the Google knowledge pack when someone does a Google search for your brand name.  The knowledge pack is the information presented to the browser that might be useful to a customer in that initial sweep – such as NAP and location presented with the map.  Also, chances are your listing will appear in the Google Local Pack where there’s room for just three of the best optimized, and within the “closest” listings when someone does a location relevant search.  Having a well optimized Google My Business account works for high ranking listings in search results for similar queries on Google Maps.

Google Street View

Another Google service which is offered to all businesses is Street View.  Listings with pictures helps that business to stand out and generally gets significantly more clicks, so we can’t miss this opportunity either. It might be pictures of your logo, premises, sales team, it could be anything you’d like to showcase.  As part of our Google Business Package service we will take any pictures you would like, or we can include any professional pictures you already have.

We can upload 360 photography which provides a fantastic experience for your customers, who love to get familiar with your shop or office beforehand.  Only Google certified photographers can upload street view pictures. As we are Google Street View Trusted Photographer, we also offer the 360-photography service, taking a few 360 pictures to create a virtual tour of your business premises and upload it to Google Street View which is all part of our Google Business Package.

Google Analytics

We see a website as a complex, living thing connected with many other services, social media, channels and tools. It requires continuous monitoring of its performance, progress and health. Another free tool by Google is their Search Console, which along with Google Analytics provides a full picture of your website status. It requires a bit of techie skills to get those tools set up, connected and verified but everything is well explained in case you want to complete it on your own. Although, you don’t need to worry about it as we will use our experience to get this sorted as it’s part of our Google Business Package.

Once your Google Business account is up and running it’s important to keep it live by posting news, reviews, offers and events. As people have become reliant on a second opinion when shopping online, (it turns out 90% of them (us?) read reviews before making a purchase), having reviews updated can only help your business.

On the other hand, not many customers are willing to write a review – that’s why a good acquisition strategy must be in place.  It might happen that a customer, for whatever reason, leaves a bad review – this is not the end of the world. Take it as a chance to present your professionalism in a reasonable way. It makes sense considering that over 40% of people claim it actually looks positive to them and are likely to visit the business.  We provide a training on this ongoing maintenance as part of the service.

Easy as 1, 2, 3…

This might look quite overwhelming for any business owner whose time is already taken up with the day to day minutiae of running and developing a business.  Nevertheless, it is all necessary in this era of online shopping, browsing and Googling for local enterprises if you want to make your business visible online and to stay visible.  It should not be surprising the whole package is worth well over €400, and that’s about what we would charge if asked to perform these tasks separately, however, our Google Business Package comes free with each of our website plans – it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.
